I work; therefore, I vote Democrat!
The Republican Party believes they have successfully pulled in working-class voters, a group which is normally a Democratic stronghold. A little bit true but why? It may be due to the “political correctness” issues within the party that some democrats find a bit confining. It is certainly not because of any programs Republicans have created to support workers. This change is something new, something recent, and we, as Democrats, need to turn it around before Republicans claim permanent victory.

The Republican Party does not deserve the political support of blue-collar workers – no actual programs or policies were produced to improve the lives of workers, conversely, Republican leaders have done all in their power to sublimate workers, and that’s why they don’t know what to do with their new-found constituency. Republicans still do not support labor unions, they do not support minimum wage laws, they don’t support workers comp, unemployment insurance, and they don’t support Medicaid. All these programs were created by Democrats to support the working class.
Standing up for unions, supporting a higher living wage, creating jobs programs and vocational technical schools, promoting job safety, are bulwarks of Democratic policies and administrations.
Workers way outnumber CEOs – vote in your best interests – your paycheck.
